Words could not express what these four and half years have meant to me. To be honest I am trying to hold it together...but I am not doing a very good job. The truth is I am going to miss Pleasant Green very much. I am especially going to miss the youth. My love overflows for each and everyone of them.
Before Jesus transitions from his life to the cross he call his disciples his "friends." Yes he was their leader and they were his followers but that wasn't the fullness of their relationship. They were much more. They were friends. I leave here with friends. Friends who I will care about for the rest of my life.
Parents I want to say that you are best parents a youth ministry can have. You have encouraged me and affirmed me so many times. I can't thank you enough. Blessings be upon you!
Yesterday I shared with the youth a funny video called "Good News" featured on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Jesus has come to bring good news to us his people. In the midst of a seemingly dark world. When we were at our worst God brought us good news. Paul in Romans says, "hold fast to what is good." Hold good things close to your heart and don't let them go.
I celebrate the good that I have had the privilege to witness and be apart of these past few years. I also hold the "good" that is to come.
Your Friend,
Jason
